It was great to see so many of you this past weekend in Boston. Raya Brass Band really had a great time touring up there and playing about town despite monsoon like conditions. For those of you who didn’t make it out to one of the shows, or who would just like a little bit more Raya, we recorded an hour long concert in the studio on Saturday for Jesse Kaminsky’s “The Intercontinental,” which airs on WMBR, 88.1 TODAY Wednesday March 17 from 6-8. Our set will be aired during the first hour of the show, from 6-7.
On March 17, 2010 from 6:00p-8:00p, Raya Brass Band will be performing on MIT’s WMBR radio show Intercontinental from 6-7pm as part of their brief New England tour which also included performances at the Western Front on Friday, March 12th, in Concord as a part of Balkan Night on Saturday, March 13th, and at Dustin Street in Brighton on Sunday, March 14th. Later in the program, host Jesse Kaminsky will be joined by Angela Sawyer of Weirdo Records from 7pm-8pm in advance of Imperialisms at River Gods in Cambridge that will be Tuesday, March 23rd.
