Friends – We’d like to invite you to the Raya Brass Band Even Numbers of March Mini-Tour of Brooklyn and Manhattan starting tomorrow night in Greenpoint, followed by a Mardi Gras parade on Sunday in Manhattan, a very worthwhile benefit for the Lower East Side Girls Club at Le Poisson Rouge on Tuesday and a double bill with Lunas Altas at Jalopy on Thursday.

Children’s Museum of Art and Two Boots Pizza invite you to their Mardi Gras Art Parade on March 6th, 12-5 pm. Join the Children’s Museum of the Arts and Two Boots Pizza and march for the love of art! This festive day will feature live music performances and a variety of art projects to create masks, floats and musical instruments. Families will be invited to join in our colorful art parade at 3:00 pm as we celebrate the costumes, art and jazz of Mardi Gras.
